Life is not always kind, and we don’t always know why Allah chooses us to go through the things we go through but understand that He will never put a burden on us that we cannot bear.
As we go forth into this day of fasting, prayer, study and the life of a Muslim that we chose for ourselves, let us be reminded that our God Allah is a just and equitable God, Whose mercy always takes precedence over His punishment
like Iblis refusing to bow to Adam
we have succumbed to the lies of our egos
privileging whiteness, silencing Blackness
