Adam has been active is an artist, teacher, student, father and skilled tradesman born and raised in Oakland, California. He has spent years mentoring youth, non-Muslim and Muslim, through different artistic mediums and personal development programs throughout the Bay Area. He is also the assistant Imam at Al-Khayrat Masjid in Maryland, where he lives, and is responsible for counselling, community outreach and giving Friday sermons. He is also one half of the team behind Visitor, a death preparedness site aimed and Muslims and people with Muslim family members that offer resources and information to help ease the process of end of life planning for yourself or a loved one.
