Reflection on Juz’ 09 by UmmKhadiijah Alliybeeriyyah

In The Name of Allah The Beneficent The Most Merciful

the world is mines

the world is mines

 the world is mines

they shouted

didn’t they get the message from the righteous of the past

the world is mines

the world is mines

the world is mines

Firaun shouted

the world is mines

the world is mines

the world is mines

little did he know the punishment of

the Lord of the world awaited him

Thamuud shouted

the world is mines

the world is mines

the world is mines

didn’t he see the torment of the Lord of all that exist behind him

Aad shouted

the world is mines

 the world is mines

the world is mines

while his mouth’s wide opened

like the sky as the storm surrounded him

by the Lords of the heavens and the earth

the world is mines

the world is mines

the world Is mines

you believe

making it hard for other to live

leaving blood stains buried deep under the oceans

“they’re like animals”

“they’re half humans another”

Due to the color of their skin

Or their tribe

not caring if they’re

someone’s king or queen

father or mother

brother or sister

son or daughter

“the world is mines the world is mines the world is mines”

you testified

didn’t you read the stories of the past

Prophets

Nuuh, Saaleh,Huud, Ibrahim, Mousa Muhammad may Allah bless them.

Sacrifice their lives

Endured patience

the world is mines

the world is mines

the world is mines

miracles upon miracles poured down upon them

while foolishly shouting

“the world is mines

the world is mines

 the world is mines”

 everything perish

all you cherish  will remain behind

as you’re deep under

 “the world is mines

the world is mines

the world is mines”

 you uttered

daring to oppress others

due to the color of their skin

the tribe of their ancestors

the continent they belong

skin color

skin shade

will not matter

on the Great Day you’re denying

It’ll stare you right in your face

like a harsh nightmare

you can’t escape

thorns  stuck in your throat

mouth shut and seal

by The One Who’s The Owner of The World you once called yours.
