Reflection on Juz’ 13 by Preacher Moss

The story of Prophet Yusuf is amazing. He’s wronged in the worst way by his brothers who are jealous of his relationship with his father. They sell him into slavery which is probably the most abhorrent thing that could happen. Yet and still, in a very lonely place and a very desperate situation, he finds grace. Through prayer, through remembrance of Allah SWT and grounding himself in the light of peace which allows him to go through all of these situations, these trials and tribulations.

    Al hamdu lillaah.
Forgiveness is such a transformative act.
I am thinking about your statements about Yusuf (alayhis salaam) being a servant to many.
So many of us carry the servant names of ‘Abd, Abdullaah, Amatullaah– I wonder is we are thinking deeply about who and what we serve. Thanks.
