Reflection on Juz’ 21 by Imam Frederick Thaufeer Al-Deen

Allah has sent us creation with light and understanding – with the appreciation that by studying the creation we can learn and become benefited by it. But the understanding that we get from creation, what is purposeful for the service of Allah, can become corrupted. Its light can be bent. Its lenses can be cracked. So that we get faulty understanding. To avoid that outcome, Allah has given us the Quran and the example of the Prophet Muhammad – so that when we find ourselves in a distorted situation, we can resort to the Quran for its guidance and the example of the Prophet for his example.
