Imam Johari Abdul-Malik is a nationally recognized scholar, activist, and community leader who served as director of outreach at the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center and was the first Muslim chaplain in higher education in the United States. He is joined by his wife, Ayesha Karim, a writer and thinker whose work on faith and muslim life has inspired many – including the imam himself.
